Liberty Charity Concert

Liberty Services has been helping Port Macquarie families experiencing domestic and family violence for 40 years. Beginning with a refuge, it has expanded to provide specialist domestic violence services, crisis accommodation, housing services, after-hours response, support groups for women and children, men’s behaviour change programs, community education and workplace training.
OCR residents supported this worthwhile charity and with the hard work of many who organised a magnificent and very successful charity concert. There were no problems reaching the target number of guests, our residents gathered together and attended the evening with over $8,000 raised through tickets, donations, raffle tickets and auctions. A cheque was presented to Kelly (CEO of Liberty) and other representatives who were there on the night.
Our talented musicians in two different bands - East Side Jazz and One More Time provided the entertainment for singing and dancing and the gourmet chefs from our own Three Birds Cafe provided the delicious BBQ hamburgers.
A fun night for our residents but also a very meaningful one.
