Meeting on a Monday morning is a weekly activity for the ladies in the sewing & craft crew.
For 3 hours the ladies are busy getting creative with a variety of crafts and sewing. Look out for Jacquie multi-tasking as she steps out for Line Dancing in the next room and back in to continue sewing!
The craft group have made this a weekly event for the past 7 years with their friendship extending outside of Ocean Club Resort with social breakfasts out.
You can find these talented ladies selling their treasures at the Ocean Club Resort Easter & Christmas Markets which are in conjunction with the 3 Birds Café every year.
“Our group was started in 2016 when a neighbour & I decided that it would be a good idea to start up a sewing & craft group. We started with about 5 ladies & it slowly grew when more moved in.
We all make a variety of crafts, such as card making, crocheting, knitting, garment sewing, doll making, patchwork, macrame, embroidery, bag making, charity sewing, Japanese Boro & the list goes on.
We enjoy seeing the progress of our craft & having a cuppa & a good chat. It's a great way getting to know people.
